Your Impact

Because of supporters like you, we can continue to make life better for people with Parkinson’s and advance research toward a cure.

Your Support Makes All the Difference

When you give to the Parkinson’s Foundation, you ensure that our mission is carried out in the following key areas:

Advance Research

Your support of our research programs has led to breakthroughs that bring hope to the entire Parkinson’s community.

Progress towards new medicines, better therapies and eventually a cure relies, almost exclusively, on innovative, high-quality research. From frontline doctors and geneticists to scientists running clinical trials to academics testing theories in the lab, a broad continuum of investigation and inquiry is critical to advancing the science on Parkinson’s. If we hope to improve the lives of those living with Parkinson’s today, as well as the future for those not yet diagnosed, we must intensify our research efforts.

Your investment in the Parkinson’s Foundation is changing the course of the disease for people across the country and inspiring scientists of all backgrounds to pursue a cure for the disease.

Hear from Parkinson’s Foundation Chief Scientific Officer, Jim Beck, PhD, as he walks us through how the donations we receive translate into cutting edge research initiatives that could one day lead to a cure.

Educate & Empower

Your support provides life-changing resources to people with PD and their care partners at no cost.

The health and quality of life for people living with Parkinson’s depends on access to educational, wellness and support programs. Through donor-funded community education programs and local community grant programs, the Parkinson’s Foundation helps get resources directly into the hands of people living with the disease and their families. With the goal of reaching people with Parkinson’s across the US, the delivery of these community-based resources is imperative.

The Parkinson’s Foundation is here for people living with Parkinson’s at every stage of their journey. We offer community, resources and guidance – like the inspiring advice shared in this video.

Improve Outcomes Through Care

Research shows that people with Parkinson’s who seek skilled care have a lower risk of complications and better quality of life.

Living well with Parkinson’s disease means having access to the right health care professionals, medications and services. No one with Parkinson’s should go without the care they need because of distance or other obstacles. At present, delivery of comprehensive Parkinson’s resources in the United States is not easily accessible outside of the Parkinson’s Foundation Centers of Excellence network. With your support, we aspire to provide better, more attainable care to the one million Americans living with Parkinson’s.
